Introducing Our School

Our school is called "Gymnasia Perspektiva"

Gymnasia Perspektiva

It is situated at 25 Sovetskaya Armia Str, Samara, Russia. Our school was founded in 1993 as a place with advanced learning of English, Rissian Language, Russian Literature. Since 2011 we`ve been the participants of the UNESCO Associated Schools project.

There are 772 schoolchidren in our school. There are 25 students in each class. The school building has three floors with 40 classrooms, an assembly hall, a conference hall, two gyms, a library, an IT classroom, a cafeteria and spacious recreation areas.

Our school is well-equipped with computers:15 computers in Information Technology Classroom; 15 laptops with headsets which you can take to any place at school, projectors and Smartboards in every classroom.

Our school calendar

• 1st September - start of the school year
• Four terms with seasonal holidays between them:

autumn holidays - 31st October - 8th November; winter holidays - 29th December - 10th January; spring holidays - 25th March - 1st April; summer holidays - 1st June - 31st August

• school exam period 22nd May - 1st June
• final state exams (for senior students) - 22nd May - 20th June
• in May we are busy with school and local community events
